Belton, TX – Former University of Mary Hardin-Baylor football player Bryson Tucker has signed a free-agent contract with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. Tucker will play running back for the Stampeders and reports to rookie training camp on May 30
th. Full-team training camp for Calgary opens June 2
nd and the Stampeders 2012 season kicks off with an exhibition game against the Edmonton Eskimos on June 15
th.

New York, NY – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor football player
Damian Davis earned a rookie free agent tryout with the New York Giants and participated in rookie minicamp workouts with the defending Super Bowl champions over the weekend. He was one of 19 invited rookie free agents to participate in drills with the team, working alongside the a group of 60 newcomers, including the Giants' seven-player draft class.

Angola, Ind.- The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's golf team met their goal of shooting four rounds under the team score of 320 and closed the NCAA Division III National Championships by carding a final-round 318 on Friday in Angola, Indiana. The Cru women finished in sixth place overall, slipping one spot after holding down a top five spot following the second and third rounds. UMHB was led by freshman
Kristen Cain's 77 on Friday.
Victoria Thane posted her fourth score of the tournament in the 70s; firing a 79; which was matched by
Kelly Gonyea.
Taylor O'Rear shot 83 in the final round, and
Sara Eckert shot 87.

Angola, Ind.- The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's golf team shot another consistent round of 317 on Thursday and the Cru held on to fifth place after the third round of the NCAA Division III National Championships. The tournament is being played at the Zollner Golf Course on the campus of Trine University in Angola, Indiana. The Cru women were led by a pair of 78's from freshmen Taylor O'Rear and Victoria Thane. Kelly Gonyea birdied her last hole to card an 80, and Sara Eckert and Kristen Cain both shot 81.

Angola, IN – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's golfer Taylor O'Rear has been named to the National Golf Coaches Association's All-West Region Team. The team was announced during the NGCA awards banquet at the NCAA Division III National Championships Wednesday night in Angola, Indiana.
