The Cru qualified more teams for American Southwest Conference Championship Tournaments than any other ASC school. Belton, TX— The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s and women’s tennis teams combined to place three players on the American Southwest Conference Spring All-Conference Team, released today. To be eligible for the ASC Academic All-Conference Team, a player must be a sophomore, junior or senior and have attended the school for a full year. The student-athlete must also earn a letter and maintain at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA.

Ennis, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s tennis team took the lead after doubles, but the Cru could not hold on through singles in a 5-2 loss to LeTourneau University Friday afternoon in Ennis. The loss came in the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament Quarterfinals. The UMHB men end the spring with a 9-6 overall record. LeTourneau improves to 20-2 on the season and advances to tomorrow’s semifinals to face tournament host U.T.-Tyler.

Tyler, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s and women’s tennis teams have both clinched bids to the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament and the Cru men and women will both open postseason play Friday in Tyler. The ASC Tournament will run from Friday through Sunday at the Summers Tennis Center and will be hosted by the University of Texas at Tyler.
