Ennis, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s and women’s tennis team’s quarterfinal matches at the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament have been moved to the Lion Tennis Center in Ennis due to heavy rain in Tyler. The time schedule may have to change accordingly.

Tyler, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s and women’s tennis teams have both clinched bids to the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament and the Cru men and women will both open postseason play Friday in Tyler. The ASC Tournament will run from Friday through Sunday at the Summers Tennis Center and will be hosted by the University of Texas at Tyler.

Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s and women’s tennis teams took control during doubles and then cruised to dual match victories over U.T.-Dallas Saturday afternoon in Belton. The UMHB women posted a 7-1 victory over the Lady Comets while the Cru men also notched a 7-1 win. Heavy rain stopped the match with the #6 singles matches on the court for both the men and women. The Cru women finish the regular season with an 11-5 record while the Cru men closed out the regular season at 9-5. The loss drops the UTD women to 5-7 on the spring while the Comet men fall to 2-9 on the season.

Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s and women’s tennis teams swept dual matches from Howard Payne University Saturday afternoon in Belton. The Cru women took a 9-0 decision and clinched a berth in the American Southwest Conference Championship Tournament with the win. The UMHB men won a 6-3 decision and stayed alive in the hunt for an ASC Tournament berth, but the Cru men will need help to claim a bid. The UMHB women are now 10-5 overall and 5-1 in ASC West Division play on the season and the Cru women will be the West Division’s #2 seed in the ASC Tournament. The Cru men move to 8-5 overall and 4-2 in the ASC West with the victory.

Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men’s and women’s tennis teams split dual non-conference matches against LeTourneau University Friday afternoon in Belton. The Cru women rolled through a 9-0 victory while the UMHB men lost a 5-4 decision to the Yellow Jackets. The UMHB women improve to 9-5 on the spring with the victory while the loss drops the LeTourneau women to 4-14. The Cru men drop to 7-5 on the spring with the loss while the Yellow Jackets improve to 19-2 on the spring with the victory.

Bo Baker
Men's Soccer
Bo scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the Cru's 2-1 season opening victory over Trinity University. UMHB's win snapped the Tigers 52-match regular season home winning streak. He then scored the Cru's only goal in a 2-1 loss at Southwestern University.
Tina Miller
Women's Volleyball
Christina had 23 kills over four matches this past weekend at the U.T.-Tyler Tournament. She led the Cru in kills in three of those matches, including a three-set victory over Jarvis Christian that gave UMHB its first victory of the season.
