Belton, Texas – The opening day of the American Southwest Conference Men's and Women's Tennis Tournaments has been delayed by rain in Central Texas. The women's first round matches have been pushed back and will now start at 2:30 PM. The men's first round matches will start 30 minutes after completion of those women's matches. Matches at both the Yvonne Li Tennis Center on UMHB's campus and Belton High School Tennis Center are affected.
Friday's women's matches feature Texas Lutheran and Mississippi College playing at Belton High School and U.T.-Tyler and Schreiner University facing off at Yvonne Li Tennis Center. On the men's side, Hardin-Simmons and Mississippi College will play at Belton High School with U.T.-Dallas and Schreiner University playing at Yvonne Li Tennis Center.
