Brittni Fausett and
AshLee Bilbo and the entire Cru women's tennis team are ranked in the latest ITA Tennis Division III West Region Rankings.
Fausett, a senior from Cameron Yoe High School, is ranked #4 in the West Region in singles in the latest ranking. Fausett has a 22-2 overall singles record this year and won both the American Southwest Conference Individual Flight “A” singles title and the ITA Southwest Regional singles championship. She then went on to finish third in singles at the ITA Small College National Championships.
The doubles team of Fausett and
AshLee Bilbo is ranked15th in the West Region. Fausett and Bilbo, a junior from Bryan High School, posted a 9-1 record in dual match doubles this spring.
The Cru women are ranked 18
th in the West Region as a team. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps is ranked #1 in the West and two other ASC programs are ranked along with UMHB. U.T.-Dallas is ranked ninth in the region and U.T.-Tyler is ranked 13
th in the West.
The UMHB women finished with an 8-3 overall record and went 5-0 in ASC West Division dual match play this spring. The Cru won the ASC West Division and advanced to the ASC Tournament Semifinals before falling to U.T.-Tyler 5-1.
