RICHARDSON, Texas –– The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor was voted by its peers as the winner of the American Southwest Conference Sports Information Department of the Year award for the 2009-10 academic season. UMHB was honored on Monday (Aug. 2) during the annual ASC SID meeting in Dallas. Mary Hardin-Baylor’s Sports Information Director is Jon Wallin, who has served in that capacity since 1999 when he became the first full-time SID in the Cru athletic department’s history.
