Belton, TX – The American Southwest Conference Men's Soccer Championship Tournament opens play in Belton today with a pair of first round matches. Schreiner University and Howard Payne University will meet in the day's first match at 11:00 AM with the winner moving on to face tournament host and #1 seed UMHB in an 11:00 AM semifinal tomorrow. University of the Ozarks will face Mississippi College in the second game of the day at 2:00 PM today. The winner of the match will advance to face #2 seed Hardin-Simmons University in a 2:00 PM semifinal tomorrow. The semifinal winners will square off in the Championship Match at 1:00 PM on Sunday with the league's automatic berth in the NCAA Division III National Championships on the line.
