Belton, TX—The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor will host three summer girl’s basketball camps for children in 3
rd through 12
th grades (grade student will enter this fall) this summer. UMHB head women’s basketball coach Kim Kirkpatrick-Thornton will conduct the camps. A staff of area high school coaches and a group of UMHB collegiate players will assist Coach Kirkpatrick-Thornton during the camp. The camp sessions for 6th-12th graders will be held at the Mayborn Campus Center on the UMHB campus. The 3rd-5th grade camp will be held at the First Baptist-Belton Gym.
The Cru Girl’s Basketball Camp will emphasize the fundamentals of basketball and each of the positions on the court. During the week, players will receive detailed instruction in a challenging, unique environment that promises to be a rewarding basketball experience.
The cost of any of the camp sessions is $90 per student. Registration forms are available in the UMHB athletic office. For more information, please call Coach Kim Kirkpatrick-Thornton at (254) 295-4240.
