Belton, TX—The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor will host two summer softball camps for children ages 7-18 this summer. UMHB head softball coach Larry Hennig will conduct the camp with assistance from Cru assistant coach Julie Norris. A staff of current collegiate players and coaches will assist Coach Hennig and Coach Norris during the camp.
The Cru Softball Camp will offer two separate sessions, with both of them focusing on all-around softball skills. The camp will teach hitting and bunting fundamentals, base running and sliding and defensive techniques and skills. There will be a youth session for kids ages 8-14 and a one-day, high school session for 15-20 year olds.
The cost of each camp session is $70 per student with early enrollment. All of the camp sessions will be held at Dee Dillon Field on the UMHB campus and the registration deadline is June 8th.
