Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor softball team placed nine players on the American Southwest Conference All-West Division teams released today. The Cru had five First Team selections, placed two players on the All-West Second Team and added two Honorable Mention All-West picks. Pitcher
Erica White was named West Division Pitcher of the Year and the Cru coaching staff of
Larry Hennig and
Julie Norris was voted West Division Coaching Staff of the Year.

Hannah White were all named to the All-West Division First Team.
Erica White, a senior right-hander from Lewisville High School, also took West Division Pitcher of the Year honors. She recorded a 16-4 record and led the ASC with a 0.95 ERA. White also struck out 108 batters, nailed down three saves, tossed eight shutouts and completed 16 games while throwing 132.1 innings. Creech, a sophomore from Brazoswood High School, batted .313 and drove in 17 runs. She was third on the team with nine doubles and led the Cru with three triples. Bollier, a sophomore from Kerrville Tivy High School, batted .365 with three home runs and 30 RBI for the Cru. She also tied for the team lead with 14 doubles. McCormick, a senior from Dawson High School, batted .298 and drove in seven runs. She also tied for the team with 13 stolen bases.
Hannah White, a sophomore from Robinson High School, led the Cru with a .372 batting average, 10 home runs and 41 RBI. She also tied for the team lead with 14 doubles and led the Cru with a .693 slugging percentage.

Caitlin Wells were voted to the All-West Division Second Team. Bohne, a senior from A&M Consolidated High School, batted .365 with six home runs and 28 RBI. She posted a .557 slugging percentage and also walked a team-best 27 times. Wells, a junior from Spring High School, batted .359 with eight RBI and she also tied for the team lead with 13 stolen bases.
Catcher
Chandler Henson and pitcher
Ariel Kemmerer were both named Honorable Mention All-West Division. Henson, a freshman from Van Alstyne High School, batted .241 with a home run and nine RBI. She also threw out 10 base-stealers this season. Kemmerer, a sophomore from Little Elm High School, posted an 8-5 record and a 2.76 ERA. She had 29 strikeouts and two complete games in 17 starts.
The coaching staff of Hennig and Norris led the Cru to a 28-14 overall record and UMHB went 21-3 in ASC West Division play. The Cru won the ASC West Division for the second straight year and for the fourth time in the last five years. Hennig and Norris are both in their first year with the UMHB softball program.
This is the fourth All-West Division selection for Bohne. Bollier, Wells and
Erica White are two-time All-West Division selections. This is the first All-West Division selection for Creech, McCormick,
Hannah White, Henson and Kemmerer. The ASC does not select an All-Conference Team, so the honors end at the All-Division level.
Concordia Texas senior shortstop Jessica Rattan earned West Division Player of the Year Honors. Hardin-Simmons junior first baseman Blair Wallace was voted West Division Newcomer of the Year, Schreiner freshman catcher Kayla Avirett was named West Division Freshman of the Year and Howard Payne senior first baseman Ashley Silva was selected West Division Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year.
