Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor baseball team placed a total of seven players on the American Southwest Conference All-West Division Teams released today. Senior catcher
Chris Joshlin also took West Division Co-Player of the Year honors. UMHB had two First Team All-West Division selections, three Second Team All-West picks and had two players receive Honorable Mention All-West Division honors.
Joshlin, a senior catcher from Rogers High School, was voted West Division Co-Player of the Year and also claimed a spot on the All-West Division First Team. He won the ASC batting title with a .429 mark and tied for the conference lead in doubles with 17. Joshlin also had three home runs, 20 RBI and 11 walks. He shares West Division Player of the Year honors with Concordia's Collin Janssen. Outfielder
Chris Florack joined Joshlin on the All-West Division First Team. Florack, a junior from High School, batted .311 with five home runs and 29 RBI. He scored a team-best 33 runs and stole 29 bases, the second-highest single-season total in ASC history.

Josh Fredrick and outfielder
Braden Embry all earned Second Team All-West Division honors. Mogavero, a junior from Robinson High School, batted .284 with three homers and 18 RBI. He added 17 stolen bases and scored 27 runs. Fredrick, a senior from Troy High School, batted .283 with six homers and 28 RBI. Fredrick also stole 11 bases, walked 15 times and score 31 times. Embry, a senior from Reisel High School, hit .317 and led the Cru with five triples. He also had three home runs, 26 RBI and 11 steals on the year.
Shortstop
Zach Young and starting pitcher
Cameron Arnett were named Honorable Mention All-West Division. Young, a senior from Cameron Yoe High School, batted .307 with 18 RBI. He scored 21 runs and added 13 stolen bases. Arnett, a senior from Belton High School, led the Cru with a 6-2 record and he posted a 3.13 ERA. Arnett struck out 41 batters in 69 innings and tossed four complete games.
Janssen was also voted ASC West Division Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year and Texas Lutheran's Brad Orosey was named West Division Pitcher of the Year. Sul Ross State designated hitter Dakota Dill took Newcomer of the Year honors and Concordia's Kyle Rodriguez was voted Freshman of the Year. The Concordia Texas coaching staff was named West Division Coaching Staff of the Year.
The Cru went 21-17 overall and 11-10 in ASC West Division play this season. Fredrick is a four-time All-West Division selection. Joshlin earns All-West Division honors for the third time. This is the second All-West Division selection for Embry, Mogavero and Young. Arnett and Florack earn West Division honors for the first time. There is no ASC All-Conference baseball team selected, honors end at the All-Division level in baseball.
