Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's basketball team bounced back from its first loss of the season with two impressive wins and the Cru climbed one spot to #9 in the country in this week's D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll. The UMHB men totaled 434 points to move up one spot from tenth in the poll this week. Middlebury continues to hold down the #1 spot with 24 first-place votes and 624 total points. The Cru is the only American Southwest Conference program mentioned in this week's D3hoops.com Top 25 Poll.
The Cru is currently 18-1 overall and has a 14-1 mark in ASC play this season. UMHB posted wins over Howard Payne University and Sul Ross State University by a combined total of 55 points last week. The Cru will return to action with road rematches against those same two teams this week.
