Isaac Brann has been named American Southwest Conference Pitcher of the Week for the week ending April 27
th.
Brann, a senior from Anson, went 1-0 on the week with two saves against the No. 23 East Texas Baptist University Tigers. He threw 0.2 innings in game one of the series, giving up just one hit in the 5-4 win. Brann added a complete inning in game two, allowing just one hit for the 6-4 win. He also took the mound Saturday in the 10
th inning, giving up two hits and one earned run to earn the win. He earned a decision or completion in all three games pitched this weekend, giving up just one run and one walk.
UMHB returns to action in game one of the ASC Tournament, hosted in Marshall, on May 1
st in a 3:00pm matchup against LeTourneau.
