Biography

Malyn is a pre-physical therapy major at UMHB. She played softball at Ridge Point High School, where she was a four-year letter winner. Malyn was a four-time all-district selection, a four-time academic all-district selection, a Texas Sports Writers Association 6A All-State honoree and a Texas Girls Coaches Association All-State selection. She was also team MVP in 2021 and District Newcomer of the Year in 2019. Malyn graduated Magna Cum Laude and participated in Operation Smile and Best Buddies. She is the daughter of David and Melissa Simmons.
