Biography

2024: Academic All-ASC…made four appearances with a win against Concordia Texas (May 3) … gave up three earned runs and five hits over eight innings … faced 33 batters. 

Carmen is studying mass communications at UMHB. She played four years of varsity softball at Boerne Champion High School, where she was a three-time Defensive MVP and a first-team all-district selection. Carmen was also an academic all-district honoree and member of National Honor Society. She is the daughter of Robert and Diana Vela.
