Biography

Blane is an engineering major at UMHB. She played softball at Ridge Point High School, where she was a three-year letter winner. Blane was a two-time all-district selection, three-time academic all-district selection, Houston Chronicle-Texas Sports Nation Girl Athlete of the Week honoree and H-Town High School Sports Player of the Week selection. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and participated in Girl Scouts, where she earned bronze and silver awards. Blane is the daughter of David and Melissa Simmons.
