Belton, TX—The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor will host two summer softball camps for children ages 7-18 this summer. UMHB head softball coach Kasey Blomquist will conduct the camp with assistance from Cru assistant coach Denise Lira. A staff of current collegiate players and coaches will assist Coach Blomquist and Coach Lira during the camp.
            
             The Cru Softball Camp will offer two separate sessions, with both of them focusing on all-around softball skills. The camp will teach hitting and bunting fundamentals, base running and sliding and defensive techniques and skills. There will be a youth session for kids aged 7-12 and a one-day, high school session for 13-18 year olds.

            The cost of the beginning camp is $70 per student with early enrollment. The fee goes up to $85 per student after June 5th.  The cost of the high school camp is $50 with a $15 late fee. All of the camp sessions will be held at Dee Dillon Field on the UMHB campus. Registration forms are available in the UMHB athletic office.
