Men’s Cross Country competes at Concordia Classic

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's cross country team competed in the Concordia Classic Friday night in Pflugerville.
 
UMHB posted a team-time of 2:46:15, finishing 13th overall with 355 points. St. Edward's won the team competition with 40 points and a final time of 2:13:12 while LeTourneau came in second with 43 points. Texas Wesleyan finished third with 88 points, Southwestern came in fourth with 97 points and St. Thomas (Houston) rounded out the top five with 136 points.
 
Justin Miller was UMHB's top finisher, coming in at 30:51.1 in 66th place. Jonathan Stirtz posted a final time of 32:27.8 to finish 80th while Logan Garner came in 88th at 33:43.4. Sean Reid (34:26.0) and Latrell Bowen (34:47.5) also competed for the Cru, crossing in 94th and 98th respectively.
 
UMHB returns to action on Friday, October 1st at the Chile Pepper Festival in Fayetteville.
