Women’s Golf finishes second at Space City Classic

BELTON, Texas - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's golf team finished second at the Space City Classic Tuesday in Houston. 
 
UMHB finished second in the tournament shooting a 311-321=632 (+64). Izzy Crow was the top Crusader finishing second at +8. Izzy Crow shot 75-75=150 and carded five birdies. Avery Hill was the next Crusader, finishing third with a 76-79=155 (+13). 
 
Camryn Kiser tied for 11th shooting a 78-84=162 (+20). Allie Ebbeler tied for 15th shooting an 82-83=165 (+23), followed by Payton Cox in 34th with a 92-85=177 (+35). Brooke Norman played as an individual and finished tied for 18th shooting an 86-80=166 (+24). The field included 47 golfers with UMHB ranking among the top three in par-3 scoring, par-4 scoring, birdies and pars.
 
Trinity University won the tournament shooting 303-307=610 (+42). Southwestern University finished in third at +80, followed by LeTourneau (+90) and St. Thomas (663) in the top five.  
 
UMHB returns to action at the Eagles Bluff Intercollegiate at Eagles Bluff Country Club in Bullard, Tx March 31 - April 1.
