WILLIAMSBURG, Va- The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's golf team completed day three of the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships Thursday, finishing 18th out of 34 teams.
Day two of the tournament was suspended due to weather, causing teams to finish round two of play on day three. Around 5:00 pm ET, the tournament was suspended for the day due to lightning. The Cru finished the rest of their round Thursday before the 15-team cut was made.
Avery Hill finished her second round shooting 74 (+2). She finished the round at +3 for the tournament sitting tied for ninth.
Karlee Holcomb finished her second round shooting 76 (+4).
Izzy Crow shot 81 (+9),
Camryn Kiser shot 83 (+11) and
Allie Ebbeler shot 83 (+11).
After two rounds UMHB missed the cut by four strokes but
Avery Hill made the cut as an individual and continued in a third round after finishing the final holes of her second round Thursday morning. She ended the day with an 80 (+8), placing her in 43
rd overall at +11.
Hill will play the final round of the NCAA DIII Women's National Championship on Friday May 15 in an 11:00 start. UMHB finished team competition as the 2025 American Southwest Conference Champions with four team wins on the season.
