Men’s Golf finishes play at NCAA Championships

PENFIELD, N.Y. - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's golf team completed round two at the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship shooting 319 (+31) Wednesday in Penfield. After two rounds, UMHB shot 301-319=620 (+44), to finish 24th out of 43 teams.

Cole MacMillan was the top Crusader shooting 78 (+6) and finishing 63 individually in the tournament. Trey Archer and Will Mullin both shot a 79 (+7) in the second round, followed by Evan Acevedo with an 83 (+11) and Jack Workman at 85 (+13). 

Illinois Wesleyan leads the tournament with +19. Kenyon and Huntingdon follow tied for second at +21 with Carnegie Mellon in fourth with +22 and Aurora rounding up the top five with +24. LeTourneau was the only other American Southwest Conference team competing in the tournament. The YellowJackets ended their season in 21st with a +37 after two rounds.

UMHB missed the cut by nine strokes, ending their 2024-25 season. UMHB finished team competition as the 2025 American Southwest Conference Champions with three wins on the season
