PALM DESERT, CA - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's golf team finished 14
th at the NCAA National Preview Sunday in California.
UMHB shot a 318-309=627 (+51) to finish 14th.
Brooke Kocher,
Julia Sosa and
Katie Rhude tied for 53
rd for the tournament.
Brooke Kocher shot 83 -73=156 (+12), carding four birdies.
Julia Sosa shot 77-79=156 (+12) with three birdies while Rhude finished at 77-79=156 (+12).
Emma Iles placed 64
th shooting 76-82=158 (+14).
Brooke Norman and
Camryn Kiser placed 73
rd. Norman shot 81-81=162 (+18) with Kiser carding an 84-78=162 (+18).
Carnegie Mellon won the tournament with a 560 (-16) over two rounds. Emory University came in second shooting 285-288= 573 (-3), followed by New York University in third with a 288-288=576 (E).
The Cru returns to action September 21-22 in Montgomery, Alabama at the Montgomery Intercollegiate at Montgomery Country Club.
