Riley Bender has been named to the D3baseball.com Preseason All-America Second Team.
Bender, a third baseman from Kingwood, was named ABCA All-Region, D3baseball.com All-Region and First Team All-ASC last season. Bender started 41 games for UMHB, putting up team highs in hits (54) and doubles (19). He added 37 runs scored, two triples, nine home runs and 48 RBI on the season. Bender totaled 104 bases with a slugging percentage of .703. He added 79 assists as a third baseman, adding 31 putouts and 14 double plays.
