Taylor McDaniel has been named American Southwest Conference Baseball Hitter of the Week for the week ending March 16
th.
McDaniel, an infielder from Amarillo, went 7-for-15 at the plate last week. He opened the week with one hit and one run scored in a win at Schreiner University. McDaniel followed that with a 2-for-4 performance in the series opener against La Verne, driving across three RBI and scoring two runs. McDaniel tallied four hits with four RBI and three runs on Saturday, bringing his total to six runs and seven RBI on the week. He added two doubles with three home runs and three stolen bases.
