WHITNEY, Texas – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Women's Golf finished second at the West Region Invitational Tuesday in Whitney.
UMHB shot a 328-314=642 (+66) to finish second place.
Camryn Kiser won the tournament with a 76-74=150 (+6), carding four birdies in her second round.
Brooke Norman finished tied for third, shooting a pair of 77s to finish at 154 (+10).
Katie Rhude shot a 78 (+6) in the second round, finishing seventh at 161 (+17), followed by
Payton Cox (+21) in ninth.
Izzy Crow (+22),
Julia Sosa (+22) and
Claire Smith (+29) also competed for the Cru.
Trinity University won the tournament with a 633 (+57), followed by Hardin-Simmons in third at 669 (+93). Southwestern (+104), Southwestern B (+130) and Dallas (+184) also competed in the tournament.
