Women’s Golf finishes tied for fifth at Deb Jackson Invitational

DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's golf team finished tied for fifth at the Deb Jackson Invitational Sunday in Douglasville.
 
UMHB shot a second round 317 (+33) to finish at 626 (+58) on the tournament The Cru tied with Wesleyan and Washington-St. Louis B for fifth place. Emory won the tournament with a 577(+9), followed by Carnegie Mellon in second at 589 (+21). Washington St.-Louis rounded out the top three at 606 (+38).
 
Camryn Kiser led the Cru, finishing 18th at 154 (+12), followed by Katie Rhude in 28th at 159 (+17) and Izzy Crow at 33rd (+19). Julia Sosa (+21) and Brooke Norman (+22) also competed for the Cru.
 
UMHB returns to action in the American Southwest Conference Tournament May 1st-3rd at White Bluff Resort in Whitney.
