Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Kate Puentes joined the Cru in January 2023 as a part-time assistant coach.

Puentes graduated from Baylor University in May of 2022 with a Bachelor of Education majoring in Health, Kinesiology and Leisure Studies with a minor in Nutrition Sciences. She competed in Acrobatics and Tumbling at Baylor for four years as a base and a tumbler. During her time on the team, she helped lead the Bears to three National Championships. Puentes is a native of Yorba Linda, California.
