Trace is studying mechanical engineering at UMHB. He played football and baseball at Kingwood High School, where he earned all-district honors in both sports. Trace opened his college career with stops at Lone Star, University of Texas and San Jacinto College. He is the son of Andrew and Cynthia Taylor.
