Brittany stepped right into the starting line-up for the Cru last season. She should once again be one of the team’s top offensive threats this year as a starting guard. 2010-11: Brittany was an Honorable Mention All-West Division selection, starting 24 games and playing in 25. She averaged 10.2 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, adding a team-high 70 assists and 35 steals. Brittany reached double figues in scoring 14 times and scored a season-high 25 points against U.T.-Tyler. She had eight rebounds against Tyler and Sul Ross State. 2009-10: Brittany was a First Team All-West Division selection and also earned ASC All-Academic honors. She started all 27 games at Howard Payne and averaged 11.7 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. Brittany added 70 assists and 63 steals and shot 32 % from three-point range. She erupted for a season-high 35 points against Hardin-Simmons. 2008-09: Brittany was an ASC West Division All-Freshman selection. She played in all 29 games for Howard Payne and averaged 8.1 points and 1.7 rebounds per game while shooting 40 % from beyond the arc. Brittany added 39 assists and 28 steals. She scored a season-high 21 points against St. Joseph’s. High School: Brittany was Team MVP and was a four-time All-District basketball player at Vista Ridge High School. She also lettered in volleyball and softball. Personal: Brittany is the daughter of Delores and Preston Like and Jimmy Zamora. She was born October 13, 1989 and is majoring in exercise and sport science at UMHB.
