Biography
2024-25: Academic All-ASC … played in six rounds … averaged an 84.33 over three tournaments.
2023-24: Academic All-ASC … Competed in one tournament with a top-25 finish.
Payton is an elementary education major at UMHB. She lettered in volleyball and golf at Lorena High School. Payton was a three-time regional qualifier and two-time state qualifier as a golfer. She was also the individual district and region champion as a senior after a district runner-up finish her junior year. Academically, Payton was an all-district and all-state selection. She was also the band drum major and participated in PALS and National Honor Society. Payton is the daughter of Craig and D’Aun Cox.
