2024: Third Team All-ASC … ASC Player of the Week (Oct. 20) … Academic All-ASC … played in nine games … threw 131 completions for 1,678 yards … threw at least one score in every contest played, totaling 13 touchdowns … added 55 yards on the ground with one score … caught two passes … had season-high 268 passing yards at Howard Payne (Oct. 19) … tallied three 200+ passing yard games … threw for more than 100 yards in all nine contests. 

Jake is studying exercise and sport science at UMHB. He was an all-state football player at St. Thomas High School, where he set single season records in passing yards and passing touchdowns. He also led the state of Texas with 340 passing yards per game, ranking 16th in the country. Jake opened his collegiate career at Pittsburg State University. He is the son of Brian and Laura Wright.
