Tripp Mitchell came to UMHB in July 2023 and was promoted to full-time prior to the 2024 season. He was a wide receiver at Baylor University from 2019-2022, where he was a Big XII First Team All-Academic selection and on the Big XII Honor Roll. Tripp graduated from Baylor in December 2022 with a degree in risk management insurance and business management. He is the son of Mike and Ginny Mitchell.
