Layton won the NCAA Division III National Statistical Championship by leading the country in assist-to-turnover ratio this season. The senior point guard closed out his career as UMHB's career leader in assists. He helped lead the Cru to four ASC Tournament appearances and the 2013 NCAA Division III National Championship Game during his career.
