Tariekus was named ASC Special Teams Player of the Year with the ASC All-Conference Teams. He also earned Second Team All-Conference honors as a kick returner. Tariekus is the first player in UMHB history to return two kickoffs for touchdowns in the same season. He averages 32.8 yards per kickoff retirn on the season.
