Box Score 2 Abilene, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's women's tennis teams went into the final match with a chance to win, but neither the Cru men nor women could pull off the victory as the UMHB tennis teams were swept by Hardin-Simmons Saturday afternoon in Abilene. The Cru men and women both fell by 5-4 scores. The UMHB men fall to 7-3 overall and 3-1 in American Southwest Conference play with the loss. The Cru women drop to 6-5 overall and 3-1 in the ASC West Division. The HSU men improve to 9-5 overall and 4-0 in the ASC with the victory while the Cowgirls raise their record to 8-4 overall and 4-0 in the ASC West.
The UMHB women will return to action with a home non-conference match against College of St. Catherine next Wednesday. The Cru men and women will then close out the week with an ASC West Division match at McMurry University next Friday.
