Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's tennis team could not recover from a deficit after doubles and the UMHB men fell to Hardin-Simmons University 7-2 Saturday afternoon in Belton. The Cru posted wins at #3 singles and #1 doubles, but that's as close as UMHB could get. The loss drops the Cru to 8-6 overall and 4-2 in American Southwest Conference West Division play on the spring. Hardin-Simmons improves to 9-8 overall and 5-0 in the ASC West Division.

 

The Cru will return to action with a 1:00 PM dual match at U.T.-Dallas next Thursday in Richardson. The UMHB men will then advance to the ASC Championship Tournament as the #3 seed from the West Division. That tournament will be hosted by UMHB and will played April 29^th through May 2^nd.
