Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor baseball and softball teams will both open American Southwest Conference West Division play this weekend. The Cru baseball team opens West Division play with a three-game home series against Texas Lutheran University. The UMHB women will open their ASC West Division schedule with a four-game road series at Concordia Texas.
Cru baseball will head into the weekend with a 7-7 overall record and UMHB has won four straight games. Texas Lutheran is 11-5 overall on the year. The two teams will open the series with a 6:00 PM single game on Friday before closing out the weekend with a 1:00 PM doubleheader on Saturday. Cru softball will take a 5-5 overall mark into the series at Concordia. The Tornados have a 7-3 record and have won three straight games. The two teams will open the weekend with a 5:00 PM doubleheader on Friday before closing out the series with a 2:00 PM doubleheader on Saturday.
