Box Score 2 BELTON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's and women's tennis teams swept dual matches against Howard Payne Saturday afternoon in Brownwood. The UMHB men defeated the Yellow Jackets by a score of 8-1, sweeping the singles matches and earning wins at Nos. 2 and 3 doubles. The UMHB women swept all matches, earning a 9-0 win over Howard Payne. The UMHB men improve to 3-2 on the season and 2-0 in conference play, while the women go to 4-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play. Howard Payne falls to 2-8 on the men's side and 3-7 on the women's side.
The Cru will return to action Friday, April 12 with 2 p.m. dual matches at Texas Lutheran.
