Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Box Score Belton, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis team dropped a Tuesday afternoon match to Methodist University 6-3 in Belton. The loss drops the Cru to 1-2 on the season while the Monarchs improve to 6-1.
 
No. 3 doubles team Elizabeth Ostroff and Haley Hicks gave UMHB its first point in the match with an 8-3 victory. Ostroff then won her No. 5 singles match over Emily Talley 6-3, 7-5. Hannah Warren gave UMHB its third point with a 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles.
 
The UMHB women return to action Friday, March 7^th in a dual match with the UMHB men's tennis team against Sul Ross State University. The match is scheduled for a 10:00 AM start in Alpine.
