Box Score Belton, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's tennis team swept through doubles to grab an early lead and the Cru rolled to a 9-0 victory over Sul Ross State Wednesday afternoon in Belton. UMHB improves to 9-2 overall and 3-0 in American Southwest Conference West Division play with its eighth straight victory. The loss drops Sul Ross State to 2-9 overall and 1-2 in ASC West Division play on the season.
The UMHB men will close out the regular season with two home dual matches this weekend. The Cru will host Hardin-Simmons in the ASC finale at 1:00 PM on Friday, the winner of that match will clinch the ASC West Division title. UMHB will then take on McMurry University in a 10:00 AM start on Saturday.
