Men's Tennis falls to McMurry 7-2

Box Score Belton, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's tennis team grabbed a pair of wins at the top of the singles line-up but could not overcome an early deficit in a 7-2 loss to McMurry University in non-conference action Saturday in Belton. The loss drops the UMHB men to 9-3 on the spring and snapos the Cru's eight-match winning streak. The Warhawks improve to 14-5 on the spring with the victory.  UMHB's points came from wins by Scott Wilding at #1 singles and Jake Stamps at #2 singles

UMHB will close out the regular season with a 1:30 PM match against Hardin-Simmons University on Sunday at the Yvonne Li Tennis Center. The winner of that match will win the ASC West Division title. The Cru has already clinched an ASC Tournament berth.
