Belton, Texas – The two teams waited out a pair of rain delays, but wet field conditions made it impossible to continue as the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and Baldwin-Wallace University canceled their baseball game Friday night in Belton. The two teams made it through three innings and were tied 4-4 when the game was called. The game will not resume and will not be rescheduled.
Both teams will be back in action on Saturday in Belton. Baldwin-Wallace will open the day with a noon game against DeSales University. The Cru and Yellow Jackets will then try again with a previously scheduled 4:00 PM contest. UMHB will close out the day with a 7:00 PM start against Spalding University.
