Box Score Belton, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's tennis team fell behind in doubles and could not catch up in singles as the Cru fell to U.T.-Dallas 8-1 Friday evening in Belton. The loss drops UMHB to 2-5 overall and 0-2 in American Southwest Conference play on the spring. The Comets improve to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the ASC with the victory.

Alex Mackellar stormed back from an early deficit to post a 9-7 victory for the Cru at #1 doubles. UTD took the other two doubles matches and swept all six singles matches to clinch the victory.
The UMHB men will return to action with a 10:30 AM home conference match against Howard Payne on Saturday. The Cru will face Trinity University in a non-conference match at 7:00 PM Saturday in San Antonio.
