Men's Tennis falls to Southwestern 8-1

Box Score Belton, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's tennis team snagged one match from a regionally ranked opponent, but that was all the Cru would win in an 8-1 loss to Southwestern University Wednesday afternoon in Belton. Scott Wilding's straight victory at #1 singles was the only win of the day for the UMHB men, who dropped to 3-7 on the spring with the loss. The 11th-ranked Pirates improved to 12-5 with the victory.

Injuries and illness limited the Cru to just five players in the final home match of the season. The UMHB men will return to action with an American Southwest Conference West Division match at Sul Ross State on Saturday at 10:00 AM.
