Men's Tennis edged by U.T. Dallas 5-4

Box Score Richardson, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's tennis team fell behind in doubles before fighting back to tie the match in singles, but the Cru fell in a three-set battle in the final match in a 5-4 loss to U.T. Dallas Friday evening in Richardson.
 
The Cru's lone doubles win came from the team of Julian Dunmore and Daniel Riner at #3. UMHB evened the match with singles wins from Scott Wilding at #1, Brendan Thompson at #2 and Dunmore at #4. But UTD rallied to win #3, #5 and #6 to close out the victory.
 
The loss drops UMHB to 5-4 overall and 1-1 in American Southwest Conference play with the loss. The Comets improve to 8-3 overall and 3-0 in ASC play with the victory. The Cru men will return to action with an ASC West Division match at Howard Payne on Saturday.
