BELTON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's tennis team swept through doubles and then picked up four more singles wins on the way to a 7-2 victory over Sul Ross State Friday in Belton. The Cru improves to 6-3 overall and 2-1 in American Southwest Conference play with the victory. The loss drops the Lobos to 0-9 overall and 0-3 in the ASC West.

Jace Mahan teamed up for an 8-3 win at #1 doubles,
Alex Mackellar and
Brian Martin added an 8-4 victory at #2 doubles and
Jake Boles and
Brandon Huckabee made it a sweep with an 8-2 decision at #3. Martin (#1), Weiss (#4), Mahan (#5) and Mackellar (#6) added singles wins for UMHB. The Cru returns to action with a road match at Southwestern University at 10 am Saturday in Georgetown.
