What is your career goal and why?
My career goal is to work for a public relations firm as I enjoy telling people what brands really stand for and communicate a positive message. I would ultimately like to do public relations for a sports team or someone in sports.

   Why did you choose UMHB?
I chose UMHB because of the vision my coaches told me and the plans they had on the sporting side of things. I also spoke to a Zimbabwean who had previously come here a few years ago and he inspired me to take up this journey because of how it personally changed his life. You can feel a certain aura that is hard to explain when you drive onto campus; the warmth of the students and faculty is difficult to ignore. UMHB is a hard place to say no to once you experience a day here.

Tell us about growing up in Zimbabwe.
Growing up in Zimbabwe was amazing. Like any country, it has its problems but the experiences you get to enjoy from your early years pushing into adolescence is a marvel full of colour and excitement. All the different individuals I encountered had a different story to tell and share. The beauty that is Zim is hard ignore with the land so rich in natural beauty. Living there for so long was the only life I knew so I enjoy the culture thoroughly now that I have traveled a bit more. The biggest difference is obviously the diversity you get in the USA, the cultures are just so many that it is so easy to try a plethora of things from food to music to languages. I have not really seen a lot of things that I can pinpoint and say they are the exact same in Zimbabwe. I will say everything seems to be bigger in Texas

How has soccer helped you adjust to being in America?
Soccer has made it easier to meet new people with similar interests as me and bond. It has helped keep me focused and on task to achieving the goals that I have set out. Soccer is different here because it is a faster tempo focusing a lot on a running game and high intensity. It is a sport that is growing more and more here and that is visible through the talent of local breed players I have played with.
