Women’s Cross Country finishes second at Bill Libby Invitational

ABILENE, TX – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's cross country team competed at the Bill Libby Invitational Saturday in Abilene.

UMHB finished second behind McMurry University. The War Hawks claimed first a time of 2:00:55.1 and 30 points. The Cru's 51 points and 2:05:16.6 finish placed them in second while UT Dallas finished in third at 2:08:02.8 and 72 points.

Caitlyn Thrasher was UMHB's top performer, finishing fifth with a final time of 24:18.0. Holly Dasher came in 6th with a final time of 24:23.7, Lindsey Smith's 25:14.2 finished her 13th, while Amanda Stockton's 25:18.3 placed her 14th. Ana Hernandez came in 18th at 26:02.6, Taylor Wells finished 20th at 26:11.9 and Madison Krause crossed in 21st at 26:25.4. Victoria Hernandez, Alexi Warkentin and Brianna Munoz also competed for the Cru.

UMHB returns to action on October 30th at the ASC Championship meet in Clarksville, AR.
