Final Results
KILLEEN, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's golf team battled high winds but pulled away on the second day as the Cru women rolled to the team championship at the Lady Crusader Invitational Sunday in Killeen.
UMHB's top team posted a second round 329 team total to finish the tournament at 306-329=635. The Cru topped second place Trinity University's 314-348=662 by 27 strokes. UMHB's second team took third place after shooting 357-350=707, LeTourneau University finished in fourth place with a 356-366=722 and Centenary College rounded out the field with a 413-404=817 team score.

Jo Tiger won individual medalist honors after firing a 73-78=151 to edge teammate
Sydney McConnell's 73-81=154 by three strokes.
Sarah Kmiecik finished in fourth place for UMHB after posting a 78-82=160,
Lily Self (86-84) and
Jade Ming (82-88) tied for seventh place with 170's,
Zoe Kelton finished in 15
th place after carding an 83-91=174,
Annie Hasselbach shot 84-91=175 for 16
th place,
Leah Tyner took 18
th place with a 92-86=178,
Abigail Davis' 96-89=185 was good for a tie for 20
th place,
Annika Criss posted a 96-94=190 for a share of 24
th place and
Lauren Chesshir finished in 27
th place with a 107-104=211.
The two-day, 36-hole event was played on a par-72, 5,812-yard layout at Stone Tree Golf Club in Killeen. The UMHB women will return to action with the West Region Invitational. That tournament will be played April 12-13
th at Berry Creek Golf Course in Georgetown.
