BELTON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's tennis team closed out the regular season with an 8-1 loss to Hardin-Simmons Saturday in Belton. Alejandro Omana and Cody Aaron teamed up for an 8-6 win at #1 doubles to give the Cru its only point of the match.
 
UMHB is now 2-9 overall and 2-3 in American Southwest Conference play. The Cru will advance to the ASC Championship Tournament as the #4 seed from the West Division and will open the tournament against the East Division #1 seed next Thursday. Hardin-Simmons improved to 8-6 overall and won the ASC West with a 5-0 league mark.
