BELTON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor beach volleyball team completed its inaugural season with a pair of wins over Berry College Saturday in Belton. The Cru earned two 3-2 wins over Berry, ending the inaugural season with a 9-6 record against Division III and NAIA opponents.
"To finish with four straight wins is a real sign of growth for us," Head Coach
Mark Pryor said. "I think that is a great springboard for us heading into next year. With no upperclassmen on the roster, this season was a real learning opportunity, for both the players and myself."
UMHB looks to regroup next season.
"It will be nice to give the student-athletes some downtime and then really dig in and evaluate what they need in order for the program to take more steps forward next year."
